Buzz Lightyear - to infinity and beyond
Guess what arrived at my house last week? Yes, yes! Toy Story! The timing was perfect as I am hot and heavy into Disney scrapping and I had two photos of our friends the Garlands posing with Buzz at MGM Studios.
Toy Story looks like it is going to be a great cartridge. I plan to make scrapbooks for my nephew and niece for Christmas and I will definitely be using this cartridge. And I may use Woody and his sweet girlfriend, Bo (as in Bo-Peep), to make an anniversary card!
A word about Buzz - Hello Kitty has nothing on Buzz Lightyear when it comes to small pieces! My oh my, Buzz could get overwhelming if you are not careful when assembling him. The photo above is my mat immediately after cutting the "Buzz parts". Using the same method that I use to assemble Hello Kitty, I left the pieces on the mat until I added them to the Buzz character. I began by attaching the icon cut to the shadow cut and building up from there. Most of the pieces are easy to place, but one or two gave me a bit of trouble.
And remember I said that I had two photos of the Garland's with Buzz? Not enough for two pages, but just enough for a single 12 x 12 page. I used the same background papers on the matching page, but that page features Nemo!! Ahh, but Nemo is for another day!!

I NEED this cartridge so bad!!!!! I have so many Toy Story related LO's to finish up! I keep checking the stores, but no luck so far! :( BTW...the Disney geek in my can't help but point out to you that it's "Nemo" with an "e" not an "i". Just keep swimming! I pretty much scrap only Disney if you would like to stop by and check out my blog.

He looks great but that sure is a lot of tiny pieces!
I love this. It looks as though if you cut Buzz too small than he would have lots of little pieces!
Buzz turned out pretty good. I love the Disney carts, but geez, those tiny tiny pieces. Thanks for sharing.
I haven't ordered this one yet but, it's on my list. I have CARS and it is super neat as well! Go Buzz!!!
Love the LO. Buzz is adorable!
I love your layout! Your Buzz is adorable; those little pieces must have been a lots of work! Thanks for sharing.
My wee grandson loves Toy Story and I have so many photos of him with one or another of the characters in this cart. This cart would be a great addition to anyones library.
Boy your Buzz was adorable and perfect for the LO.
Wow...so many layers! I'm not so good with the layering thing, but really enjoy the look of this. May have to give it a try.
Great job on Buzz...you must be soooo patient...that's an incredible amount of pieces!! TFS!
You are so right about the pieces. I did Woody at 23" and Buzz at 18" to use as decorations for my grandson's b-day. I still have several to do. Don't know if I want to tackle them at a smaller size.LOL--Ryansmaama

So cute. Love Toy Story. Don't know if I have any pics from our trip to Disney World that have any Toy Story characters in them, but who needs an excuse for a fun cart like this?!
LOVE Toy Story! What a cute layout Susan!
I really love this layout. I have been tempted to buy this cart but had been told before about all the small, small pieces so was put off now after seeing this I am tempted again lol.
